Then it’s time to head out for a morning of rafting on the Shiribetsu River - suitable for all ages and a memorable experience for everyone. Discover Niseko's nature and wildlife on a rafting boat while enjoying stunning views of Mount Yotei. Enjoy a fun game of spotting the local wildlife like the ezo fox, Hokkaido raccoon or tanuki, if you are lucky you may see all three along the riverside.

Enjoy a delightful lunch at Milk Kobo, a well-known dairy farm in Niseko, famous for its drinking yoghurt, cheese tart, ice cream and more.

Why not check out Prativo, famous for their all-you-can-eat vegetarian lunch with a choice of a main meal, including the locals’ favourite 'all-you-can-drink yoghurt'. Mandariano is another fantastic option with freshly baked pizza topped with Hokkaido cheese and local ingredients. Both restaurants offer expansive views of Mount Yotei whilst you enjoy your meal.

Day 3: Reconnect with Niseko Nature

Morning: Shinsen Numa Trekking

Spend your day at Shinsen Numa, a large swamp hidden in the mountain ranges of Niseko, regarded as one of the most beautiful spots in Niseko. As you trek around the wooden walkways, your local guide will talk you through the seasonal flowers and wild plants native to Niseko and not found outside of Hokkaido.

Shinsen Numa is the perfect place to feel at one with nature, listening to the sounds of life and birds chirping.Lie back, relax and spend special moments with your loved ones as with a takeaway lunch prepared by the team at AFURI. We recommend visiting them in store to collect some kakuni pork buns or a karaage don, leaving you stress-free to enjoy your day.

Afternoon: Make New Friends, Ostrich Farm

Young and old explorers alike will enjoy meeting our feathery animal friends at the Niseko Ostrich Farm where there are over 60 ostriches roaming free. Have fun feeding them, taking pictures and guessing which ones are male or female (Hint: they have different coloured feathers). Finish the afternoon with a delicious Dorayaki, a red-bean-paste treat made from ostrich eggs.
