Wellness Escape

Day 1: Arrival Day

Check into Setsu Niseko and unwind in an elegant and spacious suite with Japanese-inspired interiors fitted with contemporary luxury amenities.

Relax in a private onsen

Unwind in our private onsen rooms to rejuvenate your soul and connect with your true self. Like the public onsen, hot spring water is naturally rich in healing minerals releasing tension and allowing you to fully relax your soul and body. Onsen bathing is the perfect way to restore your energy after a busy day. Setsu Niseko's private onsen rooms suit individuals, groups of friends, or families who wish to relax together in the onsen. All rooms come with your own private onsen changing facilities.

Spa treatment at Rikka Spa

After unwinding in the onsen, continue your journey to total relaxation at Rikka Spa for a luxurious spa treatment. Choose between one of Rikka Spa's therapeutic wellness treatments such as the Seasonal Wellness Ritual or the Therapeutic Body full body treatment. Rikka's wellbeing journeys have been designed to respect the beauty of nature, to learn from it and to live with it based on the traditional local remedies and the principles of Yin Yang together with the Five Elements theories of Eastern medicine. This holistic journey set in the tranquillity of nature will restore vitality and bring harmony to your body and mind.

Dinner

After achieving deep relaxation at the spa, enjoy dining in one of the hotel restaurants. Setsu Niseko has one of the widest selections of dining venues in Grand Hirafu and showcases some of the finest culinary traditions from around the world, while also embracing the flavours of Hokkaido’s seasonal produce.

Oyasumi Yoga

Before bedtime, we invite you to experience 'Oyasumi Yoga (Bedtime Yoga)', The gentle resonance of the singing bowl, temporarily quiets your mind and simultaneously relaxes your mind and body. This class is ideal for releasing tension throughout your body and inducing a good night sleep.

Day 2:

Ohayo Yoga

Wake up to an amazing view of Niseko’s natural landscapes.

Head to Studio En for Ohayo Yoga (Hatha Yoga), which is practised at a slower pace, with a focus on the breath, controlled movements, and gentle stretching.  The word “ha” means sun, and “ta” means moon. “Hatha Yoga” means the Yoga to bring balance between the sun and the moon in you. This is a more relaxing style of yoga class suitable for all levels and abilities.

Breakfast

After waking up from gentle yoga, delight in a breakfast featuring carefully selected ingredients from Hokkaido. Many vegetables are sourced from local organic farms, and the eggs come from trustworthy and safe local poultry farms. Topped with Hokkaido's Nanatsuboshi rice, and accompanied by toppings like Japanese beef and grilled fish, we also offer a body-friendly ochazuke (rice with tea) seasoned with méli mélo's special Japanese-style broth. After the meal, our barista will provide complimentary coffee made to order.
