Reservations Summer Seasonal Staff
Job Overview
The Setsu Niseko Reservations Officer will communicate with hotel guests via telephone, email, etc., and make accommodation reservations. They brainstorm ideas as a team to maximize the hotel's occupancy and implement them.
Responsibilities and Duties
The key tasks that are required of this person include:
- Quoting and processing booking enquiries with guests via email and telephone
- Updating/checking rates on OTA channels
- Following up with the guest on outstanding matters
- Monitoring the local market to help in planning of future sales strategies
- Handling agent and OTA bookings via email and telephone
- Supporting PMS system updates
- Performing reservation checks
- Supporting the wider sales team as necessary
Reports to: Setsu Niseko Sales & Reservations Assistant Manager
Qualifications / Requirements
- Native or business level Japanese with conversational level English
- Effective communication skills in both written and oral forms, able to communicate with staff throughout the company
- Punctual and able to show appropriate consideration for colleagues
- Be a flexible and engaged team member
- Ability to learn quickly and follow processes
- Attention to detail is a must
- Be able to work on weekends and public holidays
- Visa status permitting work in Japan
Standard Working Hours
Minimum 3 days per week. 9 hours per day (with 1 hour break); between 9:00-18:00.
Contract Period
May 6, 2024 – November 30, 2024
Wage
¥1,400 per hour
