Your Private Journey

What is the difference between a private charter and this "shared charter" jet package?

This is a shared private jet package, meaning you and up to 11 other guests will share a single, luxurious Gulfstream G550  (or equivalent type). This model allows us to offer the unparalleled convenience and comfort of private air travel at a more accessible price point.

What type of aircraft will we be flying on?

You will be flying on a Gulfstream G550 (or equivalent type), a leading ultra-long-range business jet known for its comfort, and state-of-the-art technology.

What is the seat selection policy on the jet?

Seats will be pre-assigned based on group sizing and total numbers of traveling guests. Seat plans can be found here

What are the luggage limitations?

Each guest is permitted one large suitcase with a maximum weight of 30kg (or 15 suitcases in total), along with one carry-on bag. Ski bags can be carried onboard subject to dimensions. Large ski bags will need to be shipped separately prior to travel. L’Voyage will assist and support on this depending on guest needs.

What is the check-in and boarding process like?

You will bypass the commercial airport experience entirely by using private jet terminals and lounges. Departures will be from the Singapore Seletar Airport. Arrival times at the terminal are recommended at around 45 minutes before departure time.

Upon arrival at the Seletar Business Aviation Centre, you will be greeted and seated by L’Voyage staff. You will enjoy a relaxing beverage while the staff prepare your passports and luggage to be screened by the immigration and customs. You will then be escorted to the aircraft for embarkation. The process is quick, seamless, and only takes a short amount of time.

Which airports do we travel from?

Departure from Singapore will be from Seletar Airport, whilst your arrival back into Singapore will be into Changi Airport through its VIP terminal, JetQuay CIP. For Hokkaido, you will arrive and depart from the New Chitose Airport Hokkaido Business Aviation Centre (HBAC).

Are there any on-board services or amenities?

Yes. You will enjoy a curated experience from the moment you step on board. This includes gourmet catering, a premium selection of beverages, and a dedicated crew to cater to your needs throughout the flight.

What can we expect from this journey?

Based on the early departure from Singapore a light breakfast will be served, as well as a full lunch with drinks and snacks throughout the flight.

For the return flight from Sapporo, guests will be served a 3-course dinner made with fresh Japanese ingredients, along with snacks and drinks throughout the flight.

Catering menus are provided ahead of the flight for guest selection. Any allergy restrictions can be accommodated with prior knowledge. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions or preferences when booking.

The aircraft has a full entertainment system and other amenities such as newspapers/magazines, boardgames etc. The seats are made of cowhide leather with hand stitches that recline around 30 degrees. There is no Wi-Fi available onboard.

What are the flight times?

The flight times are 7hr 50min for your flight to Sapporo and 8hr 20min for your return flight to Singapore. This may change slightly depending on weather conditions.

How are transfers handled upon arrival at the destination?

Once through customs at the New Chitose Airport Hokkaido Business Aviation Centre (HBAC), you will be met by your private transfer. Your luggage will be promptly handled and loaded into a separate luggage transfer and you will be seamlessly transferred to Setsu Niseko.

Should I learn ski or snowboard?

It depends on what you prefer. Skiing is commonly said to be easier to pick up as a beginner, while snowboarding is said to offer more flexibility across different terrains once you learn it. But it depends on personal preference. If you have previously enjoyed ice skating, it might be better to start with skiing. For those who are experienced with surfing or skateboarding, it might be easier to pick up snowboarding. Whichever you choose, you will have a great time on the slopes in Niseko.

Yes, it is highly recommended to take a lesson. Learning the right basics will definitely help you feel comfortable on the slopes. There are plenty of lessons options to choose from, please feel free to consult with our concierge team to arrange the right lesson for you.

Yes, this can be arranged if your child/children are at the same level of ability, otherwise we would not recommend it as the instructor will need to make allowances for the pupil with the least experience.

Riding on powder snow requires a different technique to riding on groomed runs. Our Setsu team would recommend that those new to Niseko slopes take a powder guide lesson before hitting the slopes. This introductory session will teach you how to ride in powder correctly and offer tips on the powder secret spots, allowing you to maximise your on-piste experience.
