Overnight Front Desk Winter Seasonal Staff

Job Overview

The Overnight Front Desk staff performs day-to-day night front desk duties. The team works together to improve the service every day for the owners and guests to experience the best hospitality in Setsu Niseko.

Responsibilities and Duties

The key tasks that are required of this person include:

  • Handle check in and outs
  • Handle cash related transactions and confirm bills
  • Ensure onsen facilities are clean and touched up
  • Patrol hotel to ensure safety and security
  • Handle any emergencies
  • Responding to requests from owners and guests including phone call and emails

Reports to: Setsu Niseko Overnight Front Desk Supervisor

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Understand Setsu Niseko’s vision for customer service and be committed to its delivery
  • Be an excellent, flexible, inspirational and involved team player
  • Enjoy working with numbers and detailed with numbers
  • Ability to set priorities and work to deadlines with close attention to detail
  • Always be punctual and considerate of fellow work colleagues
  • Native or business level English. Conversational level Japanese is a plus.
  • Visa status permitting work in Japan
  • Possess a valid Japanese Driving License or International Driving Permit
Standard Working Hours

9 hours per day (with 1 hour break); between 20:00-08:00; 5 days a week. Hours may increase over high occupancy periods.

Contract Period

12 November 2025 – 31 March 2026

Hourly Wage

¥1,600 – ¥1,750; 25% extra late-night hourly wage (from 22:00 to 5:00, excluding break time)
