Job Overview
The Housekeeping Officer performs day-to-day housekeeping tasks. The team works together to improve the service every day for the owners and guests to experience the best hospitality in Setsu Niseko.
Responsibilities and Duties
The key tasks that are required of this person include:
- Handling guest requests (delivery amenities, towels)
- Room inspection for arrivals, showrooms
- Room damage check after check out
- Updating cleaning report
- Inventory check for linen and amenties
- Room cleaning (Bed making, kitchen, bathroom, living room cleaning) if required by operations
- Storing of housekeeping supplies when new supplies are delivered
- Ensure houskeeping carts are clean, well stocked and well organised
- Ensure linen is delivered and sorted according to distribution areas
- Ensure outgoing linens are ready for linen supplier to be picked up
Reports to: Setsu Niseko Housekeeping Manager
Qualifications / Requirements
- Like to keep things clean and tidy
- Understand Setsu Niseko’s vision for customer service and be committed to its delivery
- Be an excellent, flexible, inspirational and involved team player
- Ability to set priorities and work to deadlines with close attention to detail
- Always be punctual and considerate of fellow work colleagues
- Visa status permitting work in Japan
Standard Working Hours
9 hours per day (with 1 hour break); between 07:00-24:00; 5 days a week.
Employment Benefits
- Monthly salary: ¥230,000 ~ ¥280,000 (plus annual discretionary bonus)
- Paid statutory holidays. 10 days after 6 months of employment, 11 days after 1 year, and 6 months of employment
