Front Desk Officer

Job Overview

The Front Desk staff performs day-to-day front desk duties. The team works together to improve the service every day for the owners and guests to experience the best hospitality in Setsu Niseko.

Responsibilities and Duties

The key tasks that are required of this person include:

  • Check in and out, handling billing
  • Handle phone calls and emails from guests and owners
  • Handle requests from guests and owners
  • Assist and liaise with Concierge, Bell, and Onsen reception
  • Training seasonal staff
  • Role is flexible and have to adapt as necessary to the changing market conditions and operational constraints

Reports to: Setsu Niseko Front Desk Supervisor

Qualifications / Requirements
  • Passionate about customer service
  • Understand Setsu Niseko’s vision for customer service and be committed to its delivery
  • Be an excellent, flexible, inspirational and involved team player
  • Ability to set priorities and work to deadlines with close attention to detail
  • Always be punctual and considerate of fellow work colleagues
  • Native or business level English. Conversational level Japanese is a plus
  • Visa status permitting work in Japan
  • Valid Driver’s licence in Japan or international drivers’ permission is a plus
Standard Working Hours

9 hours per day (with 1 hour break); between 7:00-24:00; 5 days a week. Night shifts may be required as necessary
