Door & Driver Seasonal Staff

Job Overview

The door & driver staff performs day-to-day doorman & driver duties. The team works together to improve the service every day for the owners and guests to experience the best hospitality in Setsu Niseko.

Responsibilities and Duties

The key tasks that are required of this person include:

  • Welcome and greet the guests on arrival, bid goodbye on departure
  • Ensure the main lobby driveway is clear of traffic, direct vehicles to maintain a clear driveway
  • Guide guests onto the relevant shuttle buses
  • Provide pick up & drop off to arriving & departing guests
  • Provide evening drives to Penthouse guests
  • Provide any other ad hoc drives as required by operations
  • Ensure hotel vehicles are clean, free of damage and petrol is filled
  • Assist guests with luggage, especially at the point of embarkation and disembarkation
  • Assist with other division as required

Qualifications / Requirements
  • Understand Setsu Niseko’s vision for customer service and be committed to its delivery
  • Be an excellent, flexible, inspirational and involved team player
  • Ability to set priorities and work to deadlines with close attention to detail
  • Always be punctual and considerate of fellow work colleagues
  • Japanese License or International Driving License with Stamp D to drive 10 seater Grand Cabin
  • Conversational Japanese and conversational English is a plus
  • Visa status permitting work in Japan
Working Hours

Average 9 hours per day (with 1 hour break) between 07:00-24:00; 30-40 hours work a week.
Hours may increase over high occupancy periods.
