Job Overview

The Bell and Onsen staff performs day-to-day bell and door duties. The team works together to improve the service every day for the owners and guests to experience the best hospitality in Setsu Niseko.

Responsibilities and Duties

The key tasks that are required of this person include:

  • Welcome and greet the guests as the first point of contact
  • Answering questions and guide the guest to the hotel facilities and parking
  • Manage guest luggage
  • Handle guest requests (delivery amenities and towels etc.)
  • Transportation service (Pick up and drop off guest)
  • Touch-up & basic clean of public onsen, private onsen after each use, and onsen lounge
  • Onsen amenities replenishment
  • Take care of onsen desk, handle private onsen bookings and pick up phone calls
  • Ensure guests comply with onsen etiquette
  • Assist with other division as required
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Passionate about customer service
  • Physically fit and ability to lift heavy luggage
  • Understand Setsu Niseko’s vision for customer service and be committed to its delivery
  • Be an excellent, flexible, inspirational and involved team player
  • Ability to set priorities and work to deadlines with close attention to detail
  • Always be punctual and considerate of fellow work colleagues
  • Native or business level English. Conversational level Japanese is a plus.
  • Visa status permitting work in Japan
  • Possess a valid driving license in Japan
Standard Working Hours

9 hours per day (with 1 hour break); between 7:00-24:00; 30-40 hours work a week

Contract Period

① 1 July – 30 September 2026

② 1 July – 31 August 2026

③ 1 – 31 August 2026

Wage

¥1,450 per hour
