Bell Officer

Job Overview

Bell Officer performs works hand in hand with the Front Desk and performs day-to-day bell duties. The team works together to improve the service every day for the owners and guests to experience the best hospitality in Setsu Niseko.

Responsibilities and Duties

The key tasks that are required of this person include:

  • Welcome guests at the main entrance and bring their luggage to the rooms
  • Delivery items to the rooms
  • Manage and handle requests and payments for local courier such as Yamato & EMS, and international courier such as Fedex.
  • Manage lost & found
  • Ensure the drive schedules are assigned
  • Manage inventory for amenity and lending item
  • Assist to train new staff member especially seasonal staff (bell, door and driver)
  • Assist other division necessary especially front desk and onsen

Reports to: Setsu Niseko Front Desk Assistant Manager

Qualifications / Requirements
  • Passionate about customer service
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy luggage
  • Understand Setsu Niseko’s vision for customer service and be committed to its delivery
  • Be an excellent, flexible, inspirational and involved team player
  • Ability to set priorities and work to deadlines with close attention to detail
  • Always be punctual and considerate of fellow work colleagues
  • Native or business level English. Conversational level Japanese is a plus
  • Visa status permitting work in Japan
  • Must have Valid Driver’s licence in Japan or international drivers’ permission
Standard Working Hours

9 hours per day (with 1 hour break); between 07:00-24:00; 5 days a week

Employment Benefits
  • Monthly salary: ¥230,000 ~ ¥280,000 (plus annual discretionary bonus)
