Looking for hotels in Niseko to stay in for your upcoming trip? If you’re considering staying at Setsu Niseko as your next Niseko accommodation, here are a few tips we’d like to share with you to maximise your Setsu stay experience.
Our Rooms
With 190 luxury suites within our walls, we have a wide range of rooms available that might just satisfy your needs for your Niseko holiday. Other than our popular Yotei suites that provide a view of the famous Mt. Yotei, our other suites have some unique features as well.
For the Ski Lovers and Those Looking for Outdoor Views
A hidden gem of our hotel, our Village Suites offers a view of the Hirafu Village – which is especially spectacular in the winter months – as well as a balcony for guests to enjoy the refreshing breeze in the summer months.
If you’re coming during winter, we also recommend these suites for those who want easy ski access as our Village rooms are the closest to the hotel’s ski lockers as well as the pick up point for the ski shuttles.

For Those Who Came to Relax
Setsu Niseko’s Wellness Centre is considered to be one of the largest wellness facilities in Hirafu Village and our Annupuri Suites are the nearest ones located. Located in the same wing of the hotel, our wellness centre is just an elevator ride away – equipped with a gym, spa, yoga studio, and onsen that come with a sauna and a cold dipping pool, making sure that our hotel guests are well rested throughout their whole stay.

For Those Who Want More Privacy
While there is a private onsen available for our hotel guests to reserve, guests staying in our Four Bedroom Suites and Penthouses won’t have to step out of their own rooms to enjoy an onsen break as their own suites come with their very own rotenburo (open-air onsen bath) they can access any time.

For Those Who Want Their Stays Extra Special
As a hotel centrally located in Niseko’s Hirafu Village, our rooms, depending on where it is located inside the hotel, provide great views of Mt. Yotei or Annupuri. However, if you’re on the lookout for a room that provides a sweeping view of the surrounding area including Mt. Yotei and Annupuri, our Penthouses are what you’re looking for.
To make it all the more special, our penthouse guests are welcomed by a few thoughtful touches: a special Setsu Niseko gift, an evening turn down service, and a private evening driver service at their convenience during the winter season.

Best Time To Book
Booking early is ideal, especially if you are aiming to come to Niseko during the peak months of December and January. Early booking not only ensures the best availability, but also secures your ideal stay.
For Setsu Niseko, we generally release our rates 6 months before the season starts. For winter, we start accepting reservations from the month of February or March, while summer reservations start in October.
To be among the first to know about any updates, we recommend subscribing to our newsletter and following us on Facebook and Instagram.
Keep on the Look Out for Special Offers/Discounts
Other than booking early, we also recommend watching out for any special stay offers we release to get the best available rates and inclusions.
For winter stays, we offer stay plans such as the Winter Flexible Rate Plan which offers guests staying in Setsu Niseko in the early season more flexibility in plan changes. We also have our special discounts, the Winter Advance Rate Plan, perfect for those who are sure of their winter plans and guarantee them the best discounts the earlier you book.
Our stay rates in Summer are relatively more affordable compared to the busy winter season. Some of the special offers we have is the Eco Stay Rate Plan which is a sustainable stay plan whilst still ensuring the best available stay rates. Our Summer Long Stay Special, geared towards our guests staying for 7 nights or more, is also another one of our stay plans that also promotes sustainability.
For those who want to take advantage of the summer and get a taste of Hokkaido’s best flavours, we have partnered with two of our in-house restaurants, meli melo, and Sushi Kato Inori, to offer two stay packages that includes a night of dinner.
Of course, we would be remiss not to mention that we also offer a special package for the passionate golfers. With discounts up to 25% on our room rates, our Golf Package also includes a round of play at the popular Hanazono Golf Course.
