Whether you are keen to hit the off-road tracks, explore the countryside, or want a more eco-friendly mode of travel with a group of friends or family, Rhythm Rides offers a rental bike that will suit your needs and skills: from E-bikes, to mountain bikes, and even a wide range of options for your young ones.

Rhythm Rides also offers Private Mountain Bike Lessons, whether it’s your first time on the mountain or you’re comfortable ripping blacks, MTB Lessons are tailored to meet all ability levels and goals.

Rental Bikes

  • E-Mountain Bike – Full Suspension. Model: Specialized Levo SL comp.
  • Full Suspension MTB – Models: Specialized Stumpjumper (Alloy bike that is suitable for trail riding and general mountain bike riding); Specialized Status 160 (Longer travel full suspension bike suitable for trail riding and bike parks).
  • E-Hybrid Bike – E-Bike (town hybrid style) – Model: Vado SL 4.0. Electric version of the Sirrus 2.0. *Not suitable for offroad riding.
  • Hybrid Bike – Model: Specialized Sirrus 2.0. Standard adult crossbike is suitable for cruising around town.
  • Kids Mountain Bike – Model: Specialized Jett 16″, 20″, 24″ – Lightweight Jett suitable for kids who want to ride comfortably.

Important Information

  • Rental Bikes are available from 1 June – 28 September 2025.
  • 3-hour rentals are only available on a walk-in basis. Kindly visit the Rhythm Hirafu Store directly.
  • Rental Bike bookings must be made at least 3 days in advance.
  • Rental Bikes must be picked up on the same day the rental period starts.
  • If equipment is damaged beyond repair or lost/stolen, the payable insurance excess is 14 days’ rental for all bikes and accessories.
  • Children’s price applies to 13 years and younger.
  • Children’s helmets are provided free of charge as children under 12 years must wear a helmet while riding a bike by Japanese law.
  • Bike accessories and safety gear (except for helmets) are subject to availability on the day.

Important Information

  • Mountain Bike Lesson is available from 31 May 2025 – 28 September 2025.
  • Cancellation can be made up to 7 days prior, a full refund will be provided for any reason.
  • Lesson bookings must be made at least 5 days in advance.
  • Meeting Point: Rhythm Hirafu Store.  Please arrive 15 minutes early.
  • This tour is up to 4 people of the same or similar level for age 7 and above.
  • Route options: Beginner Park, Namba Free Trails, or Hirafu Mountain Bike Park
